Delivering as many as two nutritious meals per day, VNA Meals on Wheels helps homebound seniors maintain their independence and their nutritional well-being.
For many seniors in our community, a VNA Meals on Wheels volunteer is the only person they will see all day. Knowing that someone cares and having that personal attention enhances quality of life.
VNA Meals on Wheels serves a hot, nutritious lunch and optional light supper to the homebound, elderly, and individuals with disabilities in Porter County. We can meet most dietary needs. We deliver Monday through Friday. Hot lunch costs $6.25 per day, hot lunch plus light supper costs $8.75 per day. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

VNA received a $7,500 pet food and supply grant from Meals on Wheels America, to provide VNA Meals on Wheels clients with food and veterinary services for their pets. VNA Kibble Kitchen provided Candi and her owner, Connie P., with prescription dog food so that Connie did not have to rehome her beloved pet.
